For those of you that may be new to macros, type /macro to open your Macros Console. Click 'new' to create a macro, give it an icon and a name, then type in your script in the box. Finally drag that macro icon anywhere to your hotbar to use.

Note that the variable %t means 'target' so here's an example of a very basic macro:

/hello %t

Now everytime you have someone targeted, just hit that macro button for that personalized greeting.

So there it is, macros can be easy peasy. Once you've got the hang of it, then feel free to shake it up!

/sexy %t
/say Why... hello.......
/say What's happening, hot stuff?
/wink %t
/flex %t

Fire away! ...and be prepared to receive a /pest or /slap emote in return.

(Side note: Here's an awesome list of all the built-in emotes you could ever want:

To create a custom emote, type /me followed by whatever you want to say. For example:
/me bakes a delicious and nutritious bundt cake.

On a further side note: When communicating with the opposite faction, they can only see the official built-in emotes. Custom emotes are seen by your enemies as, "_______ makes strange gestures.")

Macros can get really complex including commands for casting abilities, using items in specific bag containers, using a trinket and so on. For more information on creating your own macros, please see the official information about WoW Macros at WorldofWarcraft.com:

I'll be posting more Macros, especially for specific classes soon. Feel free to post your own as well.
