Welcome to the Emerald Guard Guild Bankwhere we can voluntarily stockpile armor, weapons and crafting items which are given freely to any guild members who needs something for their mains or alts.
Our treasurer and guildbanker, Butfore, will be regularly posting here a list of available bank contents and a list to whom items have been distributed to. Basically one list for deposits, one list for withdrawals.
To request an item from this list, please post here or send a message in-game to Butfore or Koytis.
To donate an item to the guild bank, please mail it in-game to Butfore. And feel free to post your donated items here too.
Thanks everyone for participating!

The purpose of the guild bank is to help our lowbies obtain gear and weapons to wear to help them level up faster. So disenchanting these for a skill point (or dusts and shards) wouldn't be our first priority. As stated in our guild Guide to Looting, if you can wear it and it's an upgrade, it's need. If you're going to sell or disenchant it, it's greed. So first priority will always go to those who actually need it and can equip it.
Perhaps we can have a policy for low-level greens that after a set amount of time (say 8 weeks) that nobody needs an item and it's just starting to take up space in the bank slots, then it can be greeded. If nobody greeds it, then the guild banker can sell it, to make more room for incoming items (hopefully blues) and to raise funds.
In this case however, we can make a small exception, IF there's any items that are obviously useless statwise to any class (say level 7 +Nature Damage Mail item), then they can be given out for disenchanting.
My suggestion though is that if you're looking for shards and dusts to level up your enchanting, Ras, take up tailoring (or leatherworking if you want to make stuff for your rogue). Whatever greens you make can be disenchanted, thus leveling up both your tailoring and enchanting at the same time. Plus you can make yourself some fun hats as a tailor. Hope that helps!
I'll also try to send you some mageweave this week.
I think that's a good policy, Kalielar. I also think that, in the interest of Butfore's dwindling bank space, he should become a disenchanter so that when the bank does become full, he can disenchant any unwanted items into stackable dusts and shards. Guild members can then put in reasonable requests (ie, not "can I hav everything plz") here for the dusts and shards they know they need to level up their enchanting.
Items that clearly sell for gold though, such as the Defias set, should be kept for outfitting those in need or, if necessary, can be sold to buy more guild bank space.
In the meantime, though, I think it's fine to send Rasai a few "leather booties of arcane wrath" or "2-h sword of nature dmg" items for her profession leveling.
I just wanted to let you guys know that the Guild Bank is still under construction. I've been experimenting with different guild bank add-ons and services (thanks to Aggus for all the tips!) and of course most of them were disabled by the recent 2.0 patch. So... I'm waiting a few days until new ones are released that are compatible.
Meanwhile, most of the green and white items were sold or sharded to make room and to purchase large bags and bank slots for our bank manager, Futabella.
So now currently in the guild bank are the following:
• 12-14 slot bags (lots! please ask if you need any for your mains or alts)
• patterns, recipes, plans and formulas
• blue weapons and armor
• uncommon crafting supplies and elements
• a few potions and raiding/dungeon supplies (like [Medallion of Faith])
Until we get an official automated guild bank service running online again (hopefully in the next 2 weeks), please feel free to ask me to log onto Futa whenever you want to browse through her huge sacks.
